Stranded Deep Wiki

When playing Stranded Deep, the occasional bouts of rain will pour down over the world. Raining is a weather effect that causes rain to pour and a thick blanket of fog to cover the surrounding area, causing low visibility. Rainfall starts and stops at random times, and often comes without warning, potentially catching the player off-guard if they are not careful.

Bouts of rain are considered major de-buffs, as they prevent the player from safely crossing from island to island, due to the low visibility through the fog. However, rain is also considered helpful, as it is able to refill the Water Still and Farming Plots with fresh water.

Notes[]

  • When it rains at night, the combination of the dark environment with the heavy fog renders the area almost pitch black, making it so the player cannot see anything out of their effective viewing range.
