Archerfish are medium-sized fish found in Stranded Deep. They can be found dwelling in the shallows. Archerfish can be distinguished from other fish by their bulbous eyes, distinctive striped pattern and blue-green coloration.

Being slow-moving fish, archerfish are considered easy prey. The player is able to catch an archerfish using a crude spear or a fish trap. Once obtained, it can be eaten raw or cooked over a campfire; either method replenishes two units of the player's hunger meter.
